One thing you realise quite quickly when you get into running animal welfare campaigns is that there's a lot to do. Far more issues than one person could ever manage. Therefore this week I'm giving over my blog (www.wildlifephotography.tv/blog) to five campaigners who are going to tell you about an issue which concerns them.

They're going to tell you what the issue is and why they're passionate about it. They're going to tell you why you should also be passionate about it, and what you can do to help. They'll tell you why your help will make a difference. Across the week, you're going to be asked to complete just five actions, one for each campaign. They'll be easy to do, won't take a lot of time, but will have a clear benefit to wild animals or animals normally kept in the wild.

The Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), University College London have set up a map to help us track the impact of the campaign. Please tell us that you're completing the 5 Acts by posting a message to twitter using the hashtag #5Acts4Wildlife and the first part of your postcode.
